The board members of Reformed Believers Publishing are excited to announce the addition of audio files of every issue of Sword and Shield to our website (www.reformedbelieverspub.org). After much preparation audio files of every article in each issue of Sword and Shield from the first issue published in June 2020 to the current issue as it becomes available can be listened to at our website. To listen to the articles, proceed as usual to your desired volume using the website navigation bar. Under each issue within a volume, the articles are listed with both an option to read and an option to listen to each article. By clicking the audio icon, you can listen to the audio or download the audio to your device. Upon opening each article to read it, there is also an option within the article to listen as you read. It is our hope that these audio files will help our readers and serve as a convenience for you to hear the content of the magazine while you are on the move, to listen rather than read, or to listen as you read.
We are thankful to God that we can continue to publish a faithful and polemical witness of the Reformed truth in a world where so many call themselves Reformed but are not.
We take this opportunity to thank those who have donated to this cause in the past, and we ask that you and others consider Reformed Believers Publishing in your giving to help us cover the costs involved with maintaining our website as well as publishing Sword and Shield each month. We hope that you continue to reap the spiritual benefits of Sword and Shield both on the printed page and through our website.
The board has scheduled the annual association meeting to be held this year in Indiana at Dyer Presbyterian Church on Friday, October 24 at 7:00 p.m. (CST). The address of the church is 2501 Hart Street, Dyer, Indiana.
The board has asked our editor in chief, Rev. Nathan Langerak, to deliver the keynote speech for the meeting. The topic that Reverend Langerak intends to speak on is “The Battle of Reformed Believers Publishing.” This speech will clearly define the enemy that Reformed Believers Publishing is called to fight against as that enemy takes form in the corrupt theology of the Protestant Reformed Churches and is witnessed in her preaching, writing, and current cozy relationships with the broader corrupt Reformed church world. The speech will also serve to remind us of the cause for the formation of our association and its magazine Sword and Shield.
Rev. Luke Bomers and Rev. Tyler Ophoff also plan to attend the meeting and give remarks.
It should be noted that the board has decided to conduct all voting in person at this meeting, including the election of two new board members. Soon the secretary of the board will email the agenda to the association members. The agenda will include the names of the board-member nominees as well as other items of business that we plan to take up at the annual association meeting.
